This spring we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of Chiropractic at this office. Dr. John Stopa began the practice on February 1, 1939. His phone number at that time was "59." Can you imagine? There are not many businesses in Belleville that have been doing the same thing, in the same location for 73 years.
Mrs. Stopa, Dr. John's wife, is still here and loves to tell stories about the early days of the practice. When people ask us if Mrs. Stopa is still involved in the practice our answer is, "Yes, shes the Boss!"
Similiar to the practice that Dr. Stopa and Mrs. Stopa ran, we keep our pratice in the family too! Our staff is a family and provides family like service to all our patients;
Dr. Lee Sowle has 43 years of health care experience. In addition to our office he is an adjunct professor at two of our local universities, where he teaches health
sciences.Dr. Sowle has also spent many years in research, as a clinical laboratory
scientist, and has spent a number of years as a manager at several local hospitals.
Aimee runs our office. She is currently a senior at Eastern Michigan University
studying Speech Language Pathology. Aimee can answer any questions you may
have concerning our office. Have an insurance question? Scheduling Concerns?
Aimee to the rescue!
Eric is our technology go to person. Eric is in the process of earning a biology degree
and is in the Pre-Chiropractic program at Eastern as well. Eric handles all of our
computer issues.
Chalupa, Nala, and Ozzie are in charge of security here at Main Street Chiropractic!
Our Mission is an "Upcompromising Commitment to Excellent, Compassionate, and Afforadable Chirpractic Health Care." We take the time necessary to give you the care you need. Many doctors spend 2 or 3 minutes with you. That's not the way we do things at Main Street Chirpratic. For 73 years this has been a family run office!!
